Regarding the commemorations of the Fifth Centenary of the First World Tour (2019-2022), as well as Fernão de Magalhães, also the project “A TRACE by Magalhães”, considered it possible for the Portuguese Community spread throughout the world to leave its “mark” through Community artistic interventions.
"Urban Youth" is an urban intervention project in partnership with the Youth House of Famalicão that aims to promote the encounter and dialogue between young people from 12 to 35 years, in order to strengthen social and territorial cohesion through art.
In order to promote artistic activity as an instrument of economic, social and cultural development, the "Urban Youth" project also has as its objective the valorisation of urban spaces through artistic intervention
Held within the scope of 'Portugal in Soho', an annual event of the Arte Institute promoted with the aim of remembering the Portuguese cultural heritage in Manhattan, the initiative brought together about 150 elements of the Portuguese community of Soho in New York, which were inspired by typical patterns from Portuguese tiles to create personalized patterns on transparent acrylic plates that projected the shadows of the graphic patterns on the floor of Sullivan Street, forming a unique piece.
The artistic intervention carried out with the Community at RHI_ Arte & Business 2019 was based on the rhino's physical image, specifically its head. The participants had three giant rhinoceros heads about 3m long and 2m high, in transparent polycarbonate acrylic, in order to transmit the duality of lightness / weight and perception of movement between them. The participants' action was to apply colored screws to these same heads, in order to create depth between them. These screws resent the armor effect that the rhino itself transmitted with its constitution.
Project, titled "TRACE" - Urban Art Intervention - Towers of Lameiras Buildings, sought to provide access to new forms of art and information to young residents, enhancing their social integration and citizenship, thus overcoming the situation of imminent social exclusion in which they were.

The ARTE'ID project aims to express appreciation for the local material and immaterial heritage, through the direct intervention of the elderly, their stories and experiences. This methodological option for the recreation of places and people with the main objective of allowing the intergenerational cultural transmission of local knowledge and culture.
In the "Private" project, artistic intervention assumes a structuring role in the whole concept associated with the idea of art-publicity-requalification, adding the high potential of this set of languages.
Each "Private" is considered a creative challenge that allows to promote new identity traits of each place.
